Acura Legend Engine

Please complete the following fields to receive bids from vendors with a Acura Legend Engine for sale!

Acura Legend is one of the luxury cars that were manufactured by Honda. The used Legend engine was unique to this vehicle only. It was sold between the years of 1986 and 1995. It came both as a coupe and as a sedan. This car had only two generations with the first one being manufactured from 1986 to 1990.  This generation was introduced in Japan and North America in’85 and ’86 respectively and was the premier Honda luxury model in those years. The sedan option was the first model to get into the market and came with a 151 HP, 2.5 liter 6 cylinder engine. The coupes came much later, in 1987, and they were powered by a 161 horsepower, 2.7 liter C27A motor. Sedans got the same engine in the following year.  The Acura Legend was the first Honda car to receive the v6 engine. Used engines are for sale and can be found in different auto shops.  They can also be sourced from the internet at ASAP Motors.

The second generation came into the market in 1991 and Honda stopped its production in 1995. This generation had a 200 horsepower SOCH 3.2 liter engine that came with either the 5 speed manual transmission which was the standard or the 4 speed automatic that was optional. This second generation came with a lot of modifications that were mostly geared towards making the interior more comfortable. The car had, among others, heated leather belts, automatic climate control and speed sensitive steering.  In 1991 and 1992, the Base, L and the Ls trims for the sedan and the L and LS trims for the coupe were brought into the market.  In 1993, the cars saw the motor upgraded to give 230 HP. This engine was the standard used Honda engine built for that year and it had a 6 speed Acura transmission that was manual. In 1994, the GS sedan became the top-line variant. This car had a 230 HP engine, standard 6 speed transmission and upgraded braking power. From the same year the LS variant did not come with the manual transmission anymore.  In 1995, there was the inclusion of a limited edition sedan. It came with its own interior and customizations that were not seen in any other model before or after it.
