Toyota Yaris Engine

Please complete the following fields to receive bids from vendors with a Toyota Yaris Engine for sale!

The first generation Toyota Yaris for the US hit dealerships in 2006-2012. The engine is a 1.5 liter 1NZFE design and is very economical. The Yaris falls into the subcompact category of automobiles. It offers 2 transmissions, a 5 speed manual and an automatic transmission.  This vehicle is Toyota most affordable vehicle as it falls between the Corolla and the Matrix. Some people prefer the Yaris over a Honda Fit, Nissan Versa or the Chevy Sonic.

The Yaris replace the Toyota Echo as more of an urban, stylish vehicle. It is available as a three-door hatchback or a four-door sedan. Both of these models being a Yaris they have different from body parts and the interiors are done differently. The three-door hatchback has more of a styled type instrument panel with a center stack and the speedometer is center located also. The sedan has more of a Camry or Corolla feel to it. The Yaris sedan more of a conventional look to the front end as well as the interior.

Both of these models have the same engine and transmission configurations and share the same materials for the interior as well. In 2009 Toyota has offered the Yaris in a five-door hatchback model which looks like a compromise between the three-door hatchback and the four-door sedan.  The Yaris uses the same platform as the Scion xA and is shared with the Scion xD, however the xD has a larger 1.8 liter engine like the Corolla does so the fuel economy does suffer in comparison.

The 2012 model Yaris got a redesign for the hatchback but the sedan is about the same. The facelift of the hatchback is definitely sporty but the power is lacking in that department. The 1.5 liter engine is made for cost in production and in fuel economy. Don’t expect power when you buy a subcompact class car.
